Its Beginning To Look A Lot Like Christmas

I love Christmas.

I love it.

I love everything about it.

I want to be an elf.

Or maybe the Princess of Christmas.

My dog has Christmas pajamas.

I realllllllllllly love Christmas. I love the trees, the lights, the movies, the music, the smiles, the candy canes, the cookies, the food, the love. I just love Christmas. But ya'll. There are some weird holiday foods out there. And here is my list in no particular order.

1. Pumpkin Pie Pringles- I honestly don't think potato and pumpkin mix well
2. Red Velvet Milk- I can't decide if that would be good.
3. Sweet Cinnamon Cool Whip- I feel like this could be good. And I found it for 1.33. You HAVE to buy that.
4. White Chocolate Peppermint Pringles- I have got to try this. I know in my heart it will taste disgust but YOLO. ;)
5. Jones Holiday Soda- We are talking 'Gingerbread,' 'Sugar Plum,' 'Candy Cane,' and 'Pear Tree.'
6. Holiday Peeps- These things were ALREADY nasty.

I think that's all I got for now. Stay tuned for more 'Christmas fun' *Insert cheesy jingle here*

"If you've got one shot, one opportunity, would you let it slip away?"

Can we just all mutually agree that I suck at blogging? I mean, I cannot grasp the idea of posting things regularly. With that said, I'm going to whip myself into shape. If I have to write about yams for the entirety of a post, I shall. Don't worry though, the topic of this post isn't about yams. Its about... basketball.

I love North Carolina Tar Heels basketball. I'm not one of those obsessive sports fans that wears the lucky jersey and sits in the same chair because they feel that its necessary for a win. I'm more like a "Ooh, I'll watch this because I like this," type fan. But honestly ya'll? I don't understand it. It was just two years ago that I realized that there's positions in this game. Who knew it wasn't a free for all? With that being said, it was a jaw-dropping shocker when I decided I wanted to play basketball.

So, I'm going to practice. Looking right professional in my attire (minus the fact that I didn't have basketball shoes). And Coach Greg says, "Alright girls, layups." Well, that was a joke. But patiently, Mr. Greg teaches me the fundamentals of making a layup. It took maybe 400,675 tries, but eventually, it went through the basket. Mentally, I heard the crowd roar, the chanting of my name. Kinda got lost in the moment.

We then work on "cutting." Like running from one side of the court to the other. Who would have thought that that doesn't mean just running in a giant circle the entire time? I was thinking, "Dang girl, you got this! Doing this cutting thing like its your job." Nope. Its not a giant circle. Its a run from the left to the right and get open for the ball.

Honestly, I get excited for suicides. Cause I know what that is. But, I'm learning. And Mr. Greg is being patient and teaching me. That's saying a lot for Mr. Greg. Cause its taking a lot of patience. I'd like to thank Mr. Greg from the bottom of my heart, even though he may never read this. But he has given me a new love for this game. A love you can only get from playing it. I may not understand everything yet, but I do know that I've got a great coach that's going to go to the ends of his means to help me.

And by the way? I made a baseline shot last night at practice.
