Confessions of a Garden Spot Employee

My grandma is the owner of a restaurant called "The Garden Spot." They serve lunch and dinner. One of the lunch waitresses quit on them and they were down one. So when all else fails you call in back-up. Back-up at The Garden Spot is me. Here are a couple things that I have learned while working at The Garden Spot.

1. Sliced cheese is called just that, sliced cheese. Not flat cheese
2. When I have two drinks in my hand please don't ask me to give you a straw, unless you want to get it yourself. ;)
3. I absolutly love it when you tell me you didn't order the drink you TOLD me you did.
4. The coffee shop down the street serves "Frappos", they might even serve Frappes...;)
5. I hate refilling the ketchup.
6. I always forget to give you your crackers when you order a salad (Getting better)
7. The last name "Reason" sounds a LOT like "Leavin" over the phone.
8. I love to cut lemons...they smell so nice. Its my favorite job. (No sarcasm)
9. The Garden Spot has a million dressings for your salad...and I have to remember them...ALL!
10. And last of all....I really do enjoy my job :)

OH WOW!

Well folks...its been a long time...and when I mean long I mean I haven't posted anything on my blog since...SUMMER STARTED! I know, I know. Don't hate.

Summer is practically over. So I thought I'd write a little letter to my good friend Summer.

                   Dear Summer,
I love you. Plain and simple. We get along. Your warm rays shining on my face when I lay on the sandy shore of the beach. The crickets chirping away. The smell of hawaiian tropic tanning oil. The taste of salty water on my tongue when I dive headfirst into a wave too big to bob over. The greenery everywhere I look. Summer, I love you.
                          Oh why must you go?

                                                        Love,
                                                                 Darria
P.S. When I hear the mosquito truck, I'll know you are back.

So there. That's my letter to Summer. I am getting excited for school to start back but I am not quite sure I'm ready for it yet. I still love the idea of being able to wake up when I please and frolic throughout the fields of daisies.   :)

So I found a great song... Leave Right Now. Okay so the video is a little weird. Its still good :)

Well that's about it. Like Porky Pig says "That's all folks"
